MRC was the innovator and first to market in the Single-Family Rental space. Over 15 years ago MRC saw this market coming and developed the foundation for this product class. The process deconstructed apartments and single-family from market, to design, Constuction, and management; and then reconstructing the fundamentals for this product. In terms of market, we conducted a national survey of renters to understand the consumers' needs in terms of design and market. MRC originated the industry acronym SFR and SFRC, Single Family Rental Communities.
