Onsite Owner Inspections
MRC is unique in that we understand the details of construction and that we have a team that puts eyes on construction to ensure quality, schedule and cost. Not only do we have a Construction Management expert, but we couple that with a highly experienced Construction Superintendent. These two act as an owner's team that shows up onsite unannounced every month to review the construction and the site. Our CS is a game changer that can identify actual construction defects as they occur rather than later with cost increases.
Example: Nick identified that the contractor was not installing the Hardie panels correctly. This process is defined in the Hardi Submittal and if an owner did not recognize the submittal or know the process, the project would be subject to moisture penetration risk and a void of warranty, the correction of which could be hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Small short cuts or hidden defects by a contractor create large exposure to the owner/developer. Our mission is to prevent that before it happens.
